Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Cusco

Upon your arrival in Cusco, you'll be greeted by your guides and transferred to your hotel via private transportation. After settling in and taking some time to rest, you have the option to either explore the city at your own pace or book an optional half-day city tour.

Optional Activity: City Tour (extra charge)

If you decide to explore on your own, start with a visit to the awe-inspiring Koricancha, once the most sacred and important temple of the Inca Empire. It is located right next to the Santo Domingo Church, built over the original Inca temple during the Spanish Conquest.

Next, you can visit Cusco Cathedral, a magnificent structure located on the Plaza de Armas. Built between 1560 and 1654 on the foundations of an Inca temple, the cathedral is a masterpiece of art and architecture, housing works by the renowned Cusco School of painters, with gold and silver detailing on its altars and pulpit.

Your journey can then take you to the remarkable Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, which offers not only incredible examples of Inca stone construction but also breathtaking panoramic views of Cusco. From there, you can continue to the Tambomachay Archaeological Complex, known for its water features and intricate stonework.

After a day of exploration, you'll return to your hotel in Cusco to relax and prepare for the next leg of your adventure.
