On this trek you will climb the tallest peak in the African Continent, Mt Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route. Scenically Lemosho is an absolutely spectacular route with a wide variety of marvelous views and landscapes opening from Lava Tower, Barranco Camp and Karanga Camp.
This 8-day trek through Lemosho starts with the drop-off at 3,500 /11438ft. Two very short treks on Day 1 and Day 2 involve little physical activity and you barely trek uphill, which allows you to spare resources. Don't be afraid to skip the rainforest because of the drop-off - you will get to enjoy its special ambiance on the way down as you'll take Mweka trail for descent.
The option starting with the drop-off is generally easier and milder and will suit those looking for the most moderate and gradual experience possible.
This group trip requires a minimum of 6 people to run the trip at this price. Fewer signups will result in a small upcharge.

Day 1 & 2
You will be staying in a comfortable hotel in Moshi. Quietly nestled in the green foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro, Aishi Machame Hotel is a perfect place to recharge and gain strength before the climb. The territory of the hotel is one lush, beautiful garden with trees blooming and birds chirping all around. Lots of wild animals have long made Aishi Machame Hotel a place of their permanent residence. On a warm day you can go to the swimming pool cozily fenced by the greenery and bask in the African sun.
Day 3 - 10
You will be camping on the mountain on these days. Your camping accommodation, as provided by the guiding company, will include:
-Tented Accommodation in Modern Comfortable 4-Season North Face VE-25 tents. By Default, you will share a room and tent with your travel companion. Single supplement is available upon request.
-Sleeping mats 4-inch form thick and comfortable.
- Wash basins with hot water each morning and evening
- Mess tents
- Camping tables and chairs
Day 10 & 11
You will be staying in the comfortable hotel in Moshi the last night after the hike.
