On this trek you will climb the tallest peak in the African continent, Mt. Kilimanjaro, via the Machame route. Also known as the "Whisky Route," this popular trail ascends steep paths through lush forests to a ridge leading into the moorland zones and the Shira Plateau. It continues beneath the Southern Ice Fields, joining the Barafu Route for the summit push. An extra day on the Shira Plateau allows for acclimatization and exploring the Shira Needles, while strong groups may skip camping at Karanga River. The descent follows the Mweka Route, offering a direct and scenic return.

You will be staying in a comfortable 3* hotel in Moshi, in a standard room on double occupancy basis
Day 2 - 7
You will be camping on the mountain on these days. Your camping accommodation, as provided by the guiding company, will include:

- Private portable toilet
- Wash basins with hot water each morning and evening
- Mess tents
- Camping tables and chairs
Day 7
You will be staying in a comfortable 3* hotel in Moshi, in a standard room on double occupancy basis
