Overview

Renew the spirit while hiking a mile below the rim backpacking rugged Grand Canyon terrain. Sleep and swim on remote beaches of the Colorado River. This guided backpacking trips traverse 25-30 miles of some of the most remote, least-traveled routes in the Canyon.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Gear Check

On the evening before your trek start date, you’ll convene at 6:00pm for a one hour group orientation and pack-check in the main lobby of Little America Hotel in Flagstaff, AZ.

At orientation the guides will hand out backpacks, tents and sleeping bags to those who requested them. You will get to know your team, preview the trail and talk about safety.
