Experience the turquoise lakes, conifer trees, sub-alpine meadows and stunning mountain views of North Cascades at your own pace, while staying in a comfortable cabin in a nearby charming town.

The North Cascades have something for everyone ranging from short hikes and look outs for families with kids and beginners to more intense hikes for those looking for a bit of challenge to technical climbs for the experts.

Pricing is based on 2 paying adults, children 12 years old and under go free.

Itinerary

Day 1: Look out views and water sports

Drive up to a look out point to take in the breathtaking views of a turquoise lake. After you've got your heart's full of this stunning lake with a backdrop of the Cascade mountains, you could go on a short 0.4 mile hike to a waterfall or a 1.5 mile trail with about 500 feet of elevation gain to take in the views of a dam.

If you are up for more adventure, you could go on a 3.6 mile / 700 feet elevation gain hike for the beautiful scenery of the North Cascades Highway.

Alternatively, you could hike down to another lake and go for a paddle, rent a motorboat to cruise the lake, go fishing.

Day 2: Alpine lake hike or horse riding and mountain scenery

Day 3: Mountain biking, boating, and horseback riding.

Accommodations

On day 1, for 2 days

The accommodation options for this trip include a wagon or a basic rustic camping style cabin in an RV village, where you bring your own bedding, food and gear including food prep gear. They accommodate 4-6 people, depending on date. There is no kitchen or bath, but bathhouses located nearby. Linens and cooking utensils are not provided.
