Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival In Paro

Your flight to Paro will take you over the majestic Himalayan Mountains, offering breathtaking views of some of the world’s highest peaks. Among them, you’ll see Bhutan’s sacred Jumolhari and Jichu Drake. If you’re arriving via Kathmandu, you’ll be treated to the most spectacular view of the range, with the possibility of spotting both Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga.

Upon landing in Paro, our representative will warmly welcome you. In the afternoon, you’ll visit the historic Paro Dzong, a fortress built in 1646 that now houses both government offices and religious institutions, like all Dzongs (fortresses) in Bhutan.

Next, explore the National Museum, which was once the watchtower for the Dzong. The museum now showcases a rich collection of fine arts, paintings, thangkas, statues, and antiques. Afterward, visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in Bhutan, steeped in history and spirituality.

In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through Paro town, soaking in its charm before retreating to your hotel for the night.
