If you've always wanted to cover some serious distance, trekking over multiple days but did not know where to start, this would be the perfect trip for you where you learn various skills from planning to packing to meals, from expert guides.
The trip is designed to give you the skills and confidence to plan and execute long or short backpacking trips on your own in future. On this trek you will cover 32 miles of the PCT in 4 days and 3 nights.
Skills covered include:
1. Using a map and guidebook to plan logistics, daily distance, etc.
2. Finding and setting up camp
3. Acquiring and purifying water
4. Cooking meals and the use of different types of stoves
5. Basic trail first aid
6. Using a compass
