Overview

Go on a semi-guided trip in the wilderness, where your expert guide carefully chooses the hikes and activities to go on, as per your requirements and the current COVID related closures. On this trip, you will explore the gems of Oregon - Columbia Gorge, Mount Hood and Silver Falls areas without having to worry about planning for the best destinations, stops, activities or accommodations. Your guide will be with you for half a day to take you on hikes and will give you recommendations for the rest of your day so you can explore at your own pace.

Spend a long weekend re-connecting with yourself in the widerness, taking in the beautiful sights and all the earthy scents to rekindle your senses and reenergise your mind.

The pricing is $590 / person on a 4 or 8 person occupancy basis (in 2 or 4 separate double occupancy rooms across 1 or 2 cabins with some extra twin / bunk beds for young kids). On a 6 person occupancy basis (2 separate rooms in a single cabin with some extra twin / bunk beds for young kids), the price would be $650 / person, with the additonal amount charged to your card subsequent to your booking.

Itinerary

Day 1: Columbia Gorge hiking and optional water sports

Meet in Portland at a pre-deterined time and explore the historic Columbia River Highway with beautiful views of the mighty Columbia Gorge. Go on short hikes, carefully picked by your expert guide depending on COVID opening, unstable ground due to 2017 fire and weekend crowding.

After a picnic lunch, you can choose any one of the below optional activities which can be pre-booked for an extra charge:

Optional activities: Whitewater Rafting on Salmon River near Hood River

or Windsurfing rent or lessons, kayaking / if no wind SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding), Catamaran small boat sailing, sailing lessons, Jet-Ski rentals in the mecca for water sports.

Alternatively, you could go on another hike in the Columbia Gorge National Scenic area in the afternoon, before driving to the foothills of majestic Mt. Hood, Oregon's largest, snow covered volcano with 11,200 feet elevation.
