DAY 1
Arrive in Tanzania and Gear Check

Machame Gate to Machame Camp
DAY 3
Machame Camp to Shira Camp
All meals
All meals are provided (breakfast, lunch, dinner) on all days while on the Trek. Breakfast in your hotel pre/post trek is also included.

Day 1
You will be staying in a comfortable 3* hotel in Moshi, in a standard room on double occupancy basis
Day 2 - 7
During your time on the mountain, you will be camping in accommodations provided by the guiding company. Your camping setup includes:
Tents: You will be provided with high-quality “3-man” tents, though these are shared by two people based on the group’s composition. For added comfort, many climbers choose to bring an extra sleeping pad in addition to the provided sleeping pads. The porters will carry the tents and all your gear ahead of you, so when you reach each camp in the afternoon, your tent will be set up and ready for you.
Chemical Toilet: A chemical “sit-down” toilet will be provided in a private tent at each campsite. This ensures a level of comfort and privacy throughout your trek. The porters will transport the toilet to each new campsite as you progress.
Basic Hygiene Facilities: Showers are not available on the mountain. However, each morning and upon arrival at camp each afternoon, you will receive a bowl of hot water for personal washing. Additionally, soap and hot water will be provided before each meal for hand washing.
This setup is designed to ensure your comfort and hygiene while you focus on enjoying the stunning landscapes and completing your adventure.

You will be staying in a comfortable 3* hotel in Moshi, in a standard room on double occupancy basis

An Unforgettable and Seamless Mt. Kilimanjaro Climb
It is rare that 14 (mostly) strangers can come together, bond quickly and cohesively and do something amazing like summit Mt. Kilimanjaro together. Yet, when you get to work with terrific organizations like AdventureTripr, things like this become possible. While I had to do a significant amount of personal preparation and training, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a “hitch-less” travel experience. From providing a detailed itinerary, packing list and training program to securing comfortable transportation and hotels to partnering with an excellent guide company in Tanzania, every aspect of our trip felt easy (except the climb, of course!).
