Highlights

In California’s Sierra Nevada mountains, straddling the state line between California and Nevada, lies the largest alpine lake in North America. Lake Tahoe offers walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, scuba diving, and so much more for the adventurous traveler. It’s also the nation’s second deepest lake (after Crater Lake in Oregon), and a much sought-after destination. It’s a fantastic place to visit year-round! Once you have seen what summer/fall has to offer, come back for winter/spring and enjoy the world class ski resorts and other fun in the snow.

Pricing is based on minimum 2 paying adults, up to 2 kids under 12 go free. Max occupancy is 4 persons total.

Lake Tahoe Summer / Fall Getaway

DAY 1

Serene beaches, trails, and sunsets

Pack and head out for your fun adventure. Stretch your legs along the drive with a stop at a local park to learn about the local history. Get back in your car and keep on heading towards Lake Tahoe. Once you’re there, you’re going to head to a local park to take in the views. With clear water, inviting coves, and interesting rock formations, you’ll enjoy walking along the beach.

When you’re ready, head out to get some dinner. Watch a beautiful sunset from the beach before heading back to your accommodations for a good night’s sleep.

Accommodation

Day 1 & 2

Stay conveniently in South Lake Tahoe in a room with 2 queen beds. Your accommodations offer ski & snowboard rentals (in winter/spring), and there is a marina very nearby with boat, kayak, and jet ski rentals (in summer/fall). They also have a family game area (may be closed due to Covid-restrictions), an onsite lakefront restaurant, and a tiki bar.
