Climbing the PNW's iconic peaks and other glaciated climbs require a special set of skills to ensure safety and a good experience. This day course teaches students how to ascend snow covered routes that don't require technical roped climbing. Learn how to use alpine climbing boots, crampons, and an ice axe to ascend alpine slopes of up to 35 degrees steepness. This course prepares students for climbs such as Mt. Adams via the South Spur and Mt. Shasta via the Clear Creek Route.
This requires minimum of 5 participants to run the course. If we do not meet this requirement, you will be either be offered an alternative date or you will get full refund.
