Arrival in Guwahati and Transfer to Shillong

Arrive in Guwahati and meet your local representative before beginning the drive towards Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya.The journey gradually moves from the plains of Assam into the hill landscapes of Meghalaya. En route, stop at Umiam Lake, a scenic reservoir surrounded by green hills and one of the major viewpoints along the route to Shillong.

Depending on arrival time, continue towards Shillong and check into your accommodation. Later, explore some of Shillong's notable landmarks, including the Shillong Cathedral, known for its distinctive architecture, and the Shillong Golf Course, one of the city's well-known green spaces.The remainder of the evening can be spent relaxing or exploring the local area at leisure.
