With 363 miles of public shoreline in Oregon, there are endless high cliffs, hidden coves, and both rugged and sandy beaches to explore. At high tide, watch impressive waves splashing against rocks, at low tide, discover a large variety of beautiful marine animals and plants calling the rocky shores their home. While on your way to Newport, make sure to stop at the pull-offs you find on the side of the road. If you look towards the ocean, you’ll be able to see the grey whales who swim off the Oregon coast year-round. Stretch your legs with a hike along a picturesque beach in one of the state parks and be sure to find seashells at the seashore. In the afternoon, explore the harbor city of Newport and check out the historic bayfront and resident seal colony in the harbor. Then take a short hike to Oregon’s tallest lighthouse.

These cabins nestled amongst the trees, have two bedrooms, one Queen bed and one 1 King bed, with private covered porches and can sleep up to six 6 guests using the futon in the living area. They have a fully equipped kitchen with an over-the-counter microwave, full-sized refrigerator, oven and cooktop plus all the utensils. They also have a charcoal barbecue and fire pit.
