Overview

Experience the turquoise lakes, larch trees, sub-alpine meadows... The North Cascades are waiting! On this trip, you'll be able to explore at your own pace while staying in a comfortable cabin in a nearby charming town.  

Washington's North Cascades have something for everyone ranging from short hikes and look outs for families beginners to more intense alpine hikes for those looking for a bit more of challenge. Then, when the snow falls, there's cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and more!  

Our local experts will provide you with a detailed personalized itinerary with specific activities (including all details) to suit your requirements and preferences, as well as the weather.  

Pricing is $815 for two people. Up to 2 kids under 12 years of age go free.

Itinerary

Day 1: Look out views

Drive up to a look out point to take in the breathtaking views of a turquoise lake. After you've got your heart's full of this stunning lake with a backdrop of the Cascade mountains, you could go on a short 0.4 mile hike to a waterfall or a 1.5 mile trail with about 500 feet of elevation gain to take in the views of a dam.  

If you are up for more adventure, you could go on a 3.6 mile / 700 feet elevation gain hike for the beautiful scenery of the North Cascades Highway.  

Our local experts will learn about your preference and will be happy to recommend suitable hikes and give you the exact location and details for your hikes.

Accommodations

On day 1, for 2 days

You will be staying in a comfortable guest room based out of an Inn in the quaint mountain town of Mazama. From your room, you will enjoy great views amidst the beauty of North Cascades. The room will have two Queen sized beds, and a private bathroom. The rooms are equipped with heating and mini refrigerators and have wifi. The guest room does not have televisions, stereos, or phones.
