This special departure on the Everest Base Camp Trek allows you to explore the Khumbu Valley with a former monk turned guide.

Arrive in Kathmandu

Guided Sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley
DAY 3
Flight to Lukla and hike to Phakding

Day 1 - 3
You will be staying at the Hotel Nepali Ghar or similar, in Kathmandu on double occupancy basis.
Day 3 - 15
Mountain lodges or tea houses along the trek. Upgraded tea houses with private bathroom will be booked whenever possible, but it is more difficult to get above Namche and almost impossible at the top.
At the lower altitudes, there is electricity to charge your electronics. As we go higher tea houses become more basic, and there is electricity only a few hours a day.
Day 15 - 17
You will be staying at the 3-star Hotel Nepali Ghar in Kathmandu on double occupancy basis.
