DAY 1

Hanoi Arrival & City Tour (Private Tour)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport, your local guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. Take some time to settle in before diving into Hanoi’s rich history and lively culture.

In the afternoon you will start by visiting Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, beautifully located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake and dating back to the 6th century. Then, explore the historic Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university founded in 1070, known for its stunning traditional architecture and peaceful courtyards. Finally, step into history at Hoa Lo Prison, built by the French in the late 1800s and once dubbed “A Hell on Earth.” Now a museum, it offers a sobering look into Vietnam’s struggle for independence.

A Seamless Vietnam Adventure from Start to Finish!

Adventure Trip did an amazing job planning our Vietnam itinerary from start to finish! Our journey took us from Hanoi to Da Nang and then Ho Chi Minh City, including two domestic flights in between, and everything was organized so smoothly. One of the highlights was our two-day cruise while in the Hanoi portion of our trip, which was such a beautiful and memorable experience. With multiple cities, flights, transportation, excursions, and accommodations involved, there were a lot of moving parts, but Adventure Trip made the entire experience feel easy and well coordinated. Boyd and I were able to focus on enjoying Vietnam, experiencing the culture, sightseeing, and making unforgettable memories without having to stress over all the logistics.
