Overview

Be rewarded with an immensely beautiful and different side of Mount Kinabalu’s plateau by taking the challenging Low’s Peak trail with a Via Ferrata Trainer. Safely held up by steel cables, trek through courses of ladders, suspended bridges, and other fixed anchors to reach the peak of Malaysia’s highest point.

- Scale the heights of Malaysia’s highest peak, Mount Kinabalu with experienced guides and gear

- Challenge yourself on the Low's Peak Trail, a difficult mountain terrain and be rewarded with the stunning changes of sceneries

- Follow a Via Ferrata route to attempt an alternative climb to the peak of Mount Kinabalu

Note: People of 16 Years of age and below cannot sign up to the Lows Peak Circuit. 12-16 years of age are able to participate in the Walk the Torq via Ferrata.

Itinerary

Day 1: Kota Kinabalu to Kinabalu National Park

You will be transferred to Mt Kinabalu National Park from downtown Kota Kinabalu. On arrival, a short trek in the park to stretch your legs before lunch at Balsam Café. You are at leisure to wander the trails in the park.

Note: Porters are available from the National Park Headquarters and can be arranged directly via cash payment MYR13 / 1kg. A Walking stick can be of great benefit to you for the climb (particularly on descent) and can be rented locally for MYR10 per stick.

Day 2: Kinabalu National Park to Kinabalu Base Camp

Day 3: Mt Kinabalu Summit Climb and Low’s Peak Via Ferrata

Day 4: Mt Kinabalu Summit Climb and Lows Peak Via Ferrata
