Overview

Visit 2 out of 7 wonders of Oregon over this 4 day trip covering some of the 90+ waterfalls by the Columbia Gorge National Scenic area and the jagged, white granite peaks and wildflower covered sparkling lakes of the Wallowa Mountains, with an expert guide through out the trip and all breakfasts and lunches included.  

 

On this trip you will cover the historic Columbia River Gorge area and do waterfalls hikes, handpicked by your guide to suit your specific requirements, avoiding crowded hikes. It also includes a visit to the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center. Explorations in the Columbia Gorge area will be followed by a stay at Umatilla and a trip to a beautiful lake and Wallowa Mountains, known as the little Switzerland of Oregon. Here you will get a "top of the world" experience, in addition to hiking and picnics in the area.  

 

The pricing noted above assumes a group of six people and includes 2 room, with one room on quadruple occupancy basis and another on double occupancy. For a 4 person group, the pricing would be $770/person in a quadruple occupancy (4 per room) room, with a double occupancy up-charge of $105/person for 2 rooms with two queen beds each on double occupancy basis.  

 

At the listed price, this trip can be booked as minimum 4 people trip with a maximum of 6 people.

Itinerary

Day 1: Historic Columbia River Gorge area explorations

Meet your guide at 9:30am at a pre-determined location. Then drive on historic Columbia River Highway with stop for fantastic views of the Columbia River Gorge and hikes that suit your group's requirements.  

Optional: Explore Bonneville Dam, watch Salmon/ Lumprey under and above ground jumping the fish ladder. Stop for picnic at Bonneville Fish Hatchery under old trees and view monster sturgeons.  

Then go for another short waterfall hike. Explore Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, followed by a drive on to Boardman, where you stay at a hotel beautifully nestled on the Columbia River.
