Overview

Wander among the largest, oldest trees in the world at Sequoia National Park, as known as "the land of giants." Stay at a comfortable family lodge with all meals included (as takeout in response to COVID), with everything you need for your recreation available right at the lodge (including free sleds) so you're sure to have a stress-free getaway.  

Pricing is based on minimum 2 paying adults, up to 2 kids under 12 go free. Max occupancy is 4 persons total.

Itinerary

Day 1: Central Valley drive and family lodge check in

Drive through Central Valley with a stop at a fascinating air museum which is great fun for kids and adults (depending on COVID restrictions). Then on to the Winter Wonderland at Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park. A guide vehicle will meet you at Grant Grove and will take you to your family lodge. A warm dinner will await you and your family as a take out to your room.  

 

Included in your stay are 2 dinners, 2 lunches and 2 breakfasts. Your lodge offers snowshoes and cross-country skis for rent; sleds are free. There are many trails and sledding hills for you to explore! Stay for two nights in a park-like setting surrounded by large Ponderosa Pines with views of the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountains.

On day 1, for 2 days

Cabin-style wooden lodge room with 1 King and 1 double bunk bed,  

entrance from the outside, park-like setting overlooking a small lake and  

views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, California-fresh meals included.  

 

A warm dinner will await you and your family on the day of your check-in. 2 dinners, 2 lunches, and 2 breakfasts are included (as takeout due to COVID).  

 

Your lodge offers snowshoes, cross country skis for rent, sleds are free.  

 

There are many trails and sledding hills on and near the property, surrounded by large Ponderosa Pines with views of the snowy Sierra Nevada Mountains.
