You will see all the bucket list sights of Iceland on this trip while being accompanied by a local guide you will help bring about deep appreciation for the sights you will see in the context of the history of the Island.

Itinerary

Day 1: Golden Circle Route

Begin your incredible journey across Iceland by being picked up at 9:00am from a designated meeting point, with the iconic Golden Circle: Þingvellir (Thingvellir), Geysir, and Gullfoss. Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the historic seat of the Icelandic Parliament, the Alþingi, established in 930 C.E., and one of the most geologically fascinating places on Earth. Here, you’ll stand in a rift valley between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, with breathtaking views of Þingvallavatn Lake.

Next, visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to Strokkur, a geyser that erupts every few minutes, shooting scalding water up to 25 meters in the air. Finally, you’ll reach Gullfoss, the "Golden Falls," where the Hvítá River roars down two tiers of cliffs into a rugged canyon, surrounded by a golden mist.

After exploring the Golden Circle, drive southward, with stunning views of Mount Hekla on clear days, toward Seljalandsfoss, a unique waterfall where you can walk behind the cascading water for a different perspective.

End your day near Kirkjubæjarklaustur, an excellent spot to catch the Northern Lights.

Cancellation Policy

The trip will be confirmed once 12 bookings have been made. If the trip is not confirmed, you will receive a full refund minus a $50 Stripe cancellation fee.

Once the trip is confirmed, the following cancellation policy will apply:

- Cancellations made 70 days or more before the departure date will receive a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee.

- Cancellations made between 69 and 51 days before departure will receive a 50% refund minus a $100 cancellation fee.

- Cancellations made within 50 days of the departure date will not be eligible for a refund.
