Lot of “bang for the buck,” on this short trip, spending 3 days backpacking Yosemite Valley’s North Rim. This is a wonderfully scenic trip with moderate days and highlights including hiking alongside the highest waterfall in North America (Yosemite Falls-2,425′) and some of the best views of Yosemite Valley and Half Dome in the entire Park.

Itinerary

Day 1: Meet your Guide

Meet your guide after breakfast in Yosemite Valley at the Curry Village Mountain Shop at 9am. You will leave your cars in the backpacker parking lot and take a free shuttle to the trailhead. From there, you will set off to gain the north rim of Yosemite Valley and the top of Yosemite Falls (2,425’). After you enjoy the spectacular and improbable falls lookout point, you will travel another .5 mile or through evergreen forests to camp. At the Creekside camp you will enjoy refreshing swimming holes, followed by a gourmet backcountry dinner prepared by your guide(s).

On day 1, for 2 days

You will be camping for 2 nights in the campsite based on double occupancy in the tents provided by the guiding company. But you are required to bring your own sleeping bag and pad.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 61 days or greater in advance are eligible for a full refund less the non-refundable  

deposit of $200  

Cancellations made 60-31 days prior to the trip departure will incur a 50% fee, eligible for a 50%  

refund.  

Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to the trip departure or after the trip has begun are not  

eligible for any refunds or credits.
