Trekking
This trek is an exploration of the diverse Annapurna region. It begins in the town of Besishahar in Lamjung, continuing along the Marshyangdi River to climb northwest mountainous desert area of Manang and crossing the Thorong La pass, at an altitude of 5,416m. On the other side of the pass, the trek drops towards Muktinath shrine and continues along the Kaligandaki River from Kagbeni. It also passes by the Kaligandaki gorge (or Andha Galchi), arguably the deepest in the world.
