On this best of the Dolomites itinerary, you’ll visit some of the most incredible areas in the Dolomite Mountains on foot – taking in more sights and delights than you can imagine! Luxury hotels, gourmet cuisine, professional mountain guides, and private transportation in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in the world – what could possibly be better?

You’ll explore two natural parks and a plethora of vistas as you hike to the Alpe di Sennes. You’ll discover Alta Badia – “the heart of the Dolomites” – with its towering peaks and lush valleys, and experience the three cultures that thrive here – Italian, German, and Ladin.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo

Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo (1,224m / 4,016') on your own (private transfer on request), and check into your hotel. Cortina d’Ampezzo is a charming alpine resort town surrounded by stunning peaks. Host to the 1956 Winter Olympics, Cortina enjoys a reputation for great skiing in winter, and in the summer attracts hikers and climbers who challenge the rocky faces of the nearby mountains.

In the evening you will meet with your guide who will provide you a trip briefing, a map and everything necessary for your adventure.

Day 3: Tardelba and Faloria

Day 4: Hike to Passo Falzarego

Day 5: Santa Croce Sanctuary

Day 6: Hike on the Pralongia Plateau
