Once you arrive at Liberia and your private transportation will pick you up to take you to Rincon de la Vieja. Rincon de la Vieja is located to the northwest of Guanacaste's, very close to Liberia, and this place is perfect for great activities like hiking and Horseback rides.
There are numerous waterfalls in the area, the largest of which are the Oropendola Waterfall and the La Victoria Waterfall, which pour into the Colorado River. In the National Park sections of Pailas area and Santa Maria area, you will find trails to the waterfalls, fumaroles and mud pits.

Arrive in Liberia and transfer to Rincon de la Vieja

After breakfast you will go to the Las Pailas of the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, the most active and largest volcano in Guanacaste. Fumaroles, geysers, bubbling mud pots, and many other attractions give you an experience that you won’t find in any other volcano in Costa Rica.
With a naturalist guide you will walk the 3.5km Las Pailas circular path through the tropical, dry forest to enjoy the best views of the volcano. You may see more than 300 species of birds and many other animals, such as bays, armadillos, coatis, iguanas, white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, and spider monkeys.

This is a full on adventure day! Have exhilarating fun on seven zip line cables, one hanging bridge, two Tarzan swings, a controlled 20-meter (65-foot) rappel, natural rock climbing wall, and via ferrata traverses and climbs.

Canyon Canopy Tour

On this morning you will be transferred to Tamarindo, located at Guanacaste on the Pacific coast. In the center of town, there are many options for restaurants and bars. Tamarindo is a destination perfect to relax at the
golden sand beach and enjoy the sunny days. The town offer a very active night life and surf is one of the most popular activities in the area.
Near Tamarindo stunning beach such as Langosta beach, a beautiful white sand beach can be found. Marino Las Baulas National Park is a protected area that serves as a safe place for the leatherback sea turtle population. They can use this area as a nesting site, without fear of being captured or having their eggs stolen. You can also see many other animals in the park,
including over 150 species of birds.

Free Day

After breakfast you will go on a catamaran tour from Tamarindo beach. The catamaran will take you silently along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast while passing some of Guanacaste’s exotic bays, white-sand beaches, and tropical jungles. Stay alert in case you spot some dolphins, sea turtles, flying fish, or even a whale.
Once the catamaran gets to a tranquil bay, you can jump into the water and do the snorkel while the crew prepares a light lunch. After the snorkeling, you can take a sunbath and enjoy a cold cocktail to admire the beautiful sunset.
