Overview

Take a trip to one of Washington’s most iconic towns. Leavenworth, a Bavarian-themed village in the Cascade Mountains is full of alpine-style buildings, German food and beer, and outdoor adventure. The town is the perfect getaway for hiking, river adventures, and so much more! Just over two hours outside of Seattle, you’ll have trouble believing you haven’t been transported to Germany!

Itinerary

Day 1: Bavarian town explorations and walks along the river

After you’ve arrived, settle into your accommodation before exploring the Bavarian-themed town. Try German food, see The Nutcracker Museum, and look in awe at the surrounding mountains. It’s truly one of the more stunning towns in Washington. You can also take a small hike around a waterfront park or play a round of mini-golf in a beautiful setting before enjoying a delicious dinner.

Day 2: Explore the area's best hikes

Day 3: Lakeside state park, E-bike tour, hiking, or river rafting
