You will visit Smith Rock State Park, with its deep river Canyons and spectacular views, explore John Day Fossil Beds National Monument which preserves a world-class record of plant and animal evolution over 40 million years, hike through nearby Painted Hills which offer colorful rock formations, enjoy dramatic views of the snow-capped Cascade Mountains, experience a wonderful clear lake, and hike to beautiful waterfalls all at your own pace with the benefit of personalized recommendations from a local expert. The program will be adjusted to the weather.

For your accommodations you will be staying in a comfortable room, at an adventure based property. Each room has two queen beds, sleeping up to 4 people, wireless internet, cable television, minibar, microwave, hot water pot, instant coffee, tea supplies, bathroom with tub / shower, with eco friendly bath soaps and shampoos, access to public outdoor spaces that include a fully equipped BBQ and campfire area.  

The property is conveniently located near both town and recreation activities. There is a large network of both mountain biking and paved bike trails right from the hotel, and they also rent bikes onsite.
