Overview

Beautiful vistas of undeveloped valleys in the distant Garhwal Himalayas can be found in the Har ki Doon Valley. One of India's most picturesque locations, it offers a variety of trekking trips. Through the secluded Garhwali settlements of Taluka, Gangad, and Osla, the journey follows the Supin River. Throughout the year for at least 7 months, the Har Ki Doon journey can be done. With the exception of the monsoon season, when rain can make the walk extremely difficult, the trek can be completed in all types of weather and seasons.

Itinerary

Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

The drive from Dehradun to Sangri takes about 10 hours and you are supposed to reach Dehradun by 6:30 am. Sankri is 220 kilometers (136miles) from Dehradun, and it takes around 10 hours to travel that far. A 1950 m elevation rise will be experienced by you. Before arriving at hamlet Sankri, the starting point of the walk, we will have passed via Mussoorie, the "Queen of the Hills," and the stunning Kempty Falls in the Uttarkashi area. When you reach Purola, you should stop using the internet and making crucial calls since the signal becomes weaker. Beautiful views of Mount Swargrohini may be seen in the village of Sankri. You will have enough time to tour the neighbourhood market after freshening yourself at the guest home.
