Q: FAQ 1: Are the optional activities included in the trip price?

No, the optional activities are not included in the price. However, we are happy to pre-book these for your so that your interaction with others and handling of money is minimized as a part of the COVID precautions.

This is a self-guided trip. We’ll book your accommodations and create a personalized itinerary that’s tailored to your interests and requirements.

Visit 2 out of 7 wonders of Oregon over this 4 day trip covering some of the 90+ waterfalls by the Columbia Gorge National Scenic area and the jagged, white granite peaks and wildflower covered sparkling lakes of the Wallowa Mountains at your own pace.

Explorations in the Columbia Gorge area will be followed by a stay at Umatilla and a trip to a beautiful lake and Wallowa Mountains, known as the little Switzerland of Oregon. Here you will get the "top of the world" experience, in addition to hiking and picnics in the area.

Pricing is based on minimum 2 paying adults, up to 2 kids under 12 go free. Max occupancy is 4 persons total.

DAY 1

Historic Columbia River Gorge area explorations

Drive on historic Columbia River Highway and go on the hikes recommended by our expert trip planners to suit your party's requirements and avoid crowded trails. Our team of trip planners have identified a multitude of hiking options in the are, to suit all skill and fitness levels.

Optional: Explore Bonneville Dam, watch Salmon/ Lumprey under and above ground jumping the fish ladder. You could enjoy your self arranged lunch here.

Then go for another waterfall hike (recommended by our expert guides to suit your requirements). Explore Columbia Gorge Discovery Center, followed by a drive on to Boardman, where you stay at a hotel beautifully nestled on the Columbia River.

Included: 1. Digital detailed itinerary suggestions, instructions for trailheads, hikes, maps for the hikes suggested per your requirements, 2. Reservations for optional activities with pre-payment and vouchers, 3. Accommodation for the night.
