Explore Whidbey Island and enjoy an island getaway without traveling far from home. With tall beach bluffs, Puget Sound views, beaches, trails, and fun towns, there’s lots to do. Local expert Morgan Green will plan the perfect weekend for you to relax, adventure, and explore.

Pricing is based on minimum 2 paying adults, up to 2 kids under 12 go free. Max occupancy is 4 persons total (6 persons may be accommodated, depending on availability).

Itinerary

Day 1: Explore island towns and scenic beaches

Take a ferry to Whidbey Island and explore a fun island town with a relaxed vibe. There are many restaurants, boutiques, and art galleries for you to check out, and a great local farmers market to grab some local food, produce, and crafts. Enjoy a pleasant brunch or grab a drink and sit outside of one of the many restaurants before heading off to explore a former army fort. Here you’ll get to wander catacomb-like bunkers and batteries, see a lighthouse, and more before you go on a great hike with fantastic views. End the afternoon by heading to the local's favorite spot for ice cream and a pier walk. Enjoy

Day 2: Day trip to the San Juan Islands

Day 3: Hike and/or kayak around a beautiful waterfront state park

Accommodations

On day 1, for 2 days

Stay in a cozy hotel, just a short drive from amazing natural and historic attractions. There are different room configurations for 2-8 people. The four-person room has two queen beds; a living area; and a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker; free WiFi; a DVD player; and cable TV. Some rooms do not have kitchenettes. Some rooms are pet friendly.
