We are an organization dedicated to increasing and highlighting diversity in mountain biking. For too long, minorities have been underrepresented and underserved in the mountain biking community. At Minority Mountain Bikers, we are committed to addressing these longstanding inequalities by showcasing riders of all genders and ethnicities. We organize mountain bike rides and events that unapologetically focus on and celebrate minority riders.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Quito

Welcome to Quito, the largest and best-preserved colonial city in the Americas, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. Often referred to as the Cultural Capital of South America, Quito is uniquely situated on the equator in a valley at the foothills of the Pichincha volcano.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to spend the day exploring Quito's charming old town and its surrounding areas. In the evening, your trip leader will meet you in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM for a welcome briefing. During this time, they will go over the details of your upcoming adventure and answer any questions you may have. The first day is designed to help you acclimate and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Cancellation Policy

This trip will be confirmed once 18 people have booked. If the trip does not reach this number, you will receive a full refund. If you need to cancel before the trip is confirmed, you will receive a 100% refund minus a $90 administration fee.

Once the trip is confirmed, the following cancellation policy applies:

- Cancellations made 61 days or more before the departure date will receive a full refund minus a $600 non-refundable deposit.

- Cancellations made 60 to 31 days before departure will receive a 50% refund.

- Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure will not receive a refund.
