Overview

Climb to the second tallest peak in Washington on this Mt. Adams adventure. This three-day itinerary gives you a relaxed pace and time to summit without pressure. You'll be taught how to use crampons and an ice axe, be rewarded (on a clear day) with views of Mt. Rainier, Mt Hood, and Mount Saint Helens in the distance, and get to glissade (slide) down the mountain which is both amazingly fun and a quicker way to get down while saving your knees!

This Mt. Adams adventure is a great mountaineering beginner trip on which you will learn the skills and techniques of mountain climbing and will also get a chance to learn about and test out all the gear provided by the guides.

Note: This trip requires a minimum of 6 participants to run.

Day 1: Start your way to the top of Mt. Adams

On your first day of this epic adventure, you'll meet at the guide's office in Oregon to organize gear before traveling the the trailhead and starting your hike. You'll be hiking about 3 miles with about 4,000 ft. of elevation gain before setting up camp and being taught how to use crampons and ice axes for your summit.
