Itinerary

Day 1: Torres del Paine National Park - Base of Towers OR Lazo Weber Hike

Today, visit Torres del Paine National Park as part of your W trek self-guided tour. You have the option to hike 14 miles (22.5 km) to the Base of The Towers to see the iconic views of Laguna Torres or you can hike 8 miles (13 km) to Lazo Weber.

Base of the Towers Hike: Part of the W Trekking route, this steep climb follows the natural course of the Ascensio River to Paso de los Vientos, where vegetation is thin. As you ascend, the mountains come into sight. After passing through different terrains, including a boulder field, you reach a steep, rocky hillside. This moderate to tough hike rewards you with the iconic view of Torres del Paine ( Towers of Blue).

Lazo Weber Hike: A gem in the Torres del Paine National Park, this hike is less steep compared to the Base of the Towers. It takes you to Weber Bridge, through a small forest in a valley overlooking the beautiful lagoons of the Cordillera Paine and the Paine River.
