FAQ 1: What is the Cancellation policy?

A non-refundable deposit of $400 per person is required to hold on to the accommodation and the guide. Your cancellation policy will be modified due to this. This $400 deposit is not refundable. The following cancellation policy applies. If you cancel: - 70 days or more before your trip, you are entitled to a full refund minus a $400 non-refundable deposit. - Between 69 to 51 days before your trip, you are entitled to a 50% refund. - 50 days or less before your trip, you will not receive any refund.

FAQ 2: When is a good time to visit Torres Del Paine?

November to March is the summer time in Southern Chile and hence the best time to visit the park. Shoulder months of September, October and April, May are also considered great when you can experience the spring or fall time in the park, with lesser crowds around. Albeit, it tends to be cooler in the should months. You should be prepared for rains and heavy winds regardless of the time of year you visit the park.

W Trek on a Budget

DAY 1

Torres del Paine National Park - Base of Towers OR Lazo Weber Hike

Today, visit Torres del Paine National Park as part of your W trek self-guided tour. You have the option to hike 14 miles (22.5 km) to the Base of The Towers to see the iconic views of Laguna Torres or you can hike 8 miles (13 km) to Lazo Weber.

Base of the Towers Hike: Part of the W Trekking route, this steep climb follows the natural course of the Ascensio River to Paso de los Vientos, where vegetation is thin. As you ascend, the mountains come into sight. After passing through different terrains, including a boulder field, you reach a steep, rocky hillside. This moderate to tough hike rewards you with the iconic view of Torres del Paine ( Towers of Blue).

Lazo Weber Hike: A gem in the Torres del Paine National Park, this hike is less steep compared to the Base of the Towers. It takes you to Weber Bridge, through a small forest in a valley overlooking the beautiful lagoons of the Cordillera Paine and the Paine River.
