Itinerary

Day 1: Explore Andahuaylillas, Piquillacta, and Tipon

Your journey will start with a pick-up from your hotel at Cusco at either 9:00 am or 1:00 pm in our private van.  

 

Saint Peter Church of Andahuaylillas: Visit the “Sistine Chapel of America,” a stunning church built by Jesuits in the 16th century. Marvel at the magnificent murals, intricate decorations, and notable paintings such as the "Assumption of the Virgin" by Esteban Murillo and works attributed to Luis de Riaño.  

 

Pre-Inca Archaeological Site of Piquillacta: Explore this impressive pre-Inca Wari culture site, renowned for its vast urban planning amidst stunning mountains and lakes.  

 

Tipon Archaeological Site: Discover the remarkable Inca hydraulic water system, a masterpiece of ancient engineering.  

 

Culinary Experience in Tipon: Visit the village of Tipon, famed for its baked guinea pig dish. Enjoy a taste of this traditional Cusco region delicacy.

Cancellation Policy

We have to pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the trip value to hold on to the guide.  

 

- Any cancellation done 61 days or more prior to the departure day gets a full refund minus a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the trip value.  

 

- If you cancel 60 to 31 days before departure, you have the right to a 50% refund.  

 

- If you cancel less than 30 days before departure day, you will not receive any refund.
