Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Quito

Welcome to Quito, the largest and best-preserved colonial city in the Americas, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. Situated on the equator in a valley at the foothills of the Pichincha volcano, Quito is known as the Cultural Capital of South America. Upon arrival, explore the old town and surrounding area. In the evening, your trip leader will provide a welcome briefing at the hotel's lobby at 18:00 hours, detailing your adventure and addressing any questions. This day serves as an acclimation and information session.
