Overview

The Italian Dolomites are a great destination for family adventures. Truly a hiker's paradise, And via ferrata, literally translated as the iron way or iron path, run throughout the Dolomites, incorporating a system of iron ladders to assist hikers on steep mountainous terrain. An exhilarating way to access spectacular mountain terrain.

But besides the exhilarating hiking, our multi-sport trip features mountain biking, the option to travel to the Austrian border, a train ride, swimming pools, waterslides, and a summertime adrenaline adventure park. The Dolomite Mountains truly have something for everyone, to make this the ultimate summer vacation!

Please note that we need at least 6 people to run this group trip. In the event we do not receive minimum bookings, your entire booking amount will be refunded.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Cortina d'Ampezzo, the Dolomites

Arrive in Cortina d’Ampezzo on your own (private transfer available on request). Check into your hotel.

Cortina d’Ampezzo is a chic Venetian town that caters to high society crowd. Host to the 1956 Winter Olympics, it is a popular sport resort that offers many year-round social activities, shopping, and dining. Depending on when you arrive, you may have time for an afternoon hike or to explore the town of Cortina.

Day 2: Mountain Biking adventure.

Day 3: Via Ferrata Col de Bos – WWI Tunnels

Day 4: Hike to Alta Badia

Day 5: Rafting on the Rienza River

Day 6: Departure Day

Cancellation Policy

91+ more days prior to departure: 20% loss of trip cost & 10% transfer to a future trip (within two calendar years);

60 to 90 days prior to departure: 100% loss of deposit;

.46 to 59 days prior to departure: 50% loss of trip cost + 50% transfer to a future trip (within two calendar years);

45 days or less prior to departure: 100% loss of full amount of trip cost. These charges are a percentage of the total cost of the booking. The days indicated are from the trip departure date.
