You will be staying at the base camp on double occupancy basis for 2 nights. All group equipment, such as tents and stoves, is covered in the trip's cost. 

Climb the second highest peak in the Pacific Northwest after Mt. Rainier and a towering stratovolcano, Mt. Adams

On your first day of this epic adventure, you will meet at the guide's office or another pre-arranged meeting point for the gear check. Then, they will drive you the trail head to you will start your hike to base camp at 9,400 ft/2,865 m. After setting up the camp the guides will teach how to use crampons and ice axes for your summit.

Hike to Base camp

After very early breakfast you'll be off to the summit! But don't be fooled by Piker's Peak which is a false summit before traveling on to the true summit another 600 ft/183 m further. 
The last ascent is steep and challenging, but you'll be rewarded with unforgettable views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainier, and Mt. St. Helens off in the distance. 
Then to get off the mountain, you'll get to glissade down chutes. Sliding down the mountain this way is a ton of fun, quicker than walking, and will help save your knees!

Summit attempt

Often the weather is unpredictable and challenging, so it is recommended to have an extra day in case it's needed.
After breakfast you'll pack out and travel back to the guide's office before heading home to spread word of your memorable adventure.
