Day 1: Olympic Discovery Trail or town explorations

Take a stroll on the Olympic Discovery Trail or bring your bikes for a ride on this 130 mile wide trail from which you can enjoy stunning views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains along the waterfront. Alternatively, you could explore downtown Port Angeles’s or Sequim's unique shops and grab a bite to eat.

Check into your lodge in Port Angeles at 4pm.

If you are up for an adventure, take a drive to the Salt Creek Recreation or Hurricane Ridge in Olympic National Park to catch a spectacular sunset. Please note that the Hurricane Hill trail will be closed from July 13 to mid August this year for construction.

Grab a bite to eat yourself in Port Angeles town or take out.

You will be in the vicinity of Sequim's fine local restaurants.

You will be in a bunglow with patio on the ranch, with 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a living room with a sofa bed, suitable for 4 people in total. Amazing location and thoughtful itinerary

Seong Ro

This trip was the perfect introduction to hiking trips. My family and I had been wanting to visit Olympic National Park for a while, but it was just a bit too far to do comfortably as a day trip with a toddler. AdventureTripr’s itinerary was perfect. We stayed in a beautiful cabin with a very warm and friendly host, in a location less than an hour’s drive from several beautiful spots. The itinerary was up to date with trail news and thoughtfully provided hiking trails and activities that we could do with our 4 year old. Best of all, the recommendations even helped us avoid the crowds despite the gorgeous weather bringing everyone out. We did stop by Bainbridge Island and downtown Sequim for some food, but we were glad to see that everyone was wearing masks and social distancing.
