Trekking through the Himalayas is a once in a lifetime experience, and a bucket list trip for many hikers. What better way than to improve your physical and mental health than training for a trek to Everest Base Camp and add yoga to your daily routine? This adventure offers a combination of fitness, culture, and some of the most dramatic landscapes in the Himalaya. During the trek, our days starts with the practice of yoga under the guidance of an instructor. The guide and yoga instructor will travel with you during the trek.

Everest Base Camp Yoga Trek starts by exploring the capital city of Kathmandu, also known as the ancient city. Each day the practice begins with the centring of the mind and body to be present in the peaceful environment of the mountain. On the trek, you'll summit the peak of Kala Patthar (18,365'), where you’ll have amazing views of Everest’s Southwest Face and the 10-mile-long Khumbu Glacier (the world’s highest glacier), and you’ll hike right to Everest Base Camp at 17,600 feet.

Brooke Bracamonte, also known as Bodies by Brooke, is a personal trainer, avid mountain climber, and hiker. By selecting this adventure, she will provide you with a strength conditioning program to build your endurance and prepare you for the demands of hiking at elevation. She will be joining the expedition as well.

I am originally from the Gorkha district of Nepal. I am a government trained professional trekking guide and I have guided on most of the trekking routes and tours in Nepal. I am also a travel consultant for several well-known trekking companies. It has been an exciting journey for me. I started as a porter and worked my way up to become a highly respected guide and consultant. I now run a trekking company. Nepal is a fascinating and diverse country, where just a few miles will take you into a completely different landscape. I enjoy finding new routes so that our clients can have the best possible choice. And I enjoy travelling with them as they discover my country for themselves.
