Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Chamana

Your unforgettable Inca Trail adventure begins early in the morning as you travel from Cusco or the Sacred Valley toward the starting point of the trek. Unlike the traditional route that crosses the Urubamba River at Km 82, this exclusive itinerary follows a quieter path downstream and crosses at Km 88, allowing you to experience a more isolated and crowd-free section of the trail.

Upon arrival at Chamana, a small village belonging to the Llaqtapata Community, enjoy a warm lunch at the private campsite surrounded by stunning Andean scenery.

In the afternoon, you will have the option to explore the fascinating archaeological sites of Wayna Q’ente and Llaqtapata, featuring impressive Incan stone walls, stairways, and ancient constructions hidden within the mountains.

After an enriching first day of trekking, relax with teatime, a hot shower, and a warm dinner at camp.
