Upon arrival in Quito, you’ll be greeted by the breathtaking sights of one of South America's most charming cities. Situated in a valley surrounded by towering mountains, Quito is the best-preserved colonial city in Latin America and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978. Depending on your arrival time, you can explore the city's old town, renowned for its colonial architecture, or take a short excursion to nearby attractions. In the evening, meet your trip leader and fellow travelers for a welcome briefing in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM. Here, you'll learn more about the itinerary, activities, and key information to help you get ready for the exciting days ahead.
