Explore Tibet’s spiritual heart in Lhasa, travel through the turquoise waters of Yamdrok Lake and the dramatic landscapes of Shigatse, and witness the north face of Mount Everest from the Tibetan side.

Continue across the vast Tibetan Plateau to the holy waters of Lake Manasarovar and the base of Mount Kailash. Complete the revered three-day Mount Kailash Kora, including the challenging crossing of Dolma La Pass at 5,630 m, before descending through Kerung into Nepal. Conclude your journey in Kathmandu with visits to Pashupatinath Temple and Boudhanath Stupa.

This demanding, deeply meaningful expedition combines cultural discovery, high-altitude trekking, sacred pilgrimage sites, and some of the Himalayas’ most extraordinary landscapes.

Entrance & monastery fees – Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Rongbuk Monastery, Lake Manasarovar, the Mount Kailash Kora, Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, and en-route sites.

Porter

Support crew – porters / yaks to carry your duffel during the Kora (per-traveller limit applies). Services of a porter to help carry luggage at various points during the trek, or on the mountain.Ratio would be for porter is 2:1 limit would be 4kg per person.

Luggage transfers

Luggage transfers are included throughout the 15-day trip. During the three-day Mount Kailash Kora, duffle bag transfers are provided so travellers only need to carry their essential daypack.

First Aid Kit & Oxygen Cylinder

Group first-aid kit and an emergency oxygen cylinder carried by the guide team during the Kora.

Travel Permit

Tibet Travel Permit, Alien’s Travel Permit, Military Permit for the Kailash region, and all border formalities arranged by our local Tibetan agent.
