DAY 1

Iceland - Greenland

The journey begins with a morning flight from Reykjavík to Ilulissat, Greenland, which takes around three hours. On arrival, you are transferred directly to the harbour for a private sailing tour through the Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its towering icebergs. During this cruise, you will also visit a small Greenlandic village and enjoy lunch made from local specialties before returning to Ilulissat in the late afternoon. After checking in at your accommodation, the evening is free, and dinner is at your own arrangement in one of the town’s restaurants.

Phenomenal local guide

Our group just finished a trip to Iceland. AdventureTripr set us up with a phenomenal local guide. While we had an itinerary, our guide Rakel made the trip special with little detours to places she loved that were off the beaten path. These side trips often included her personal stories from when she was growing up. It felt like we were more than just tourists. She also took us to the best restaurants, some you wouldn't stumble upon unless you were a local. Highly recommend this experience to anyone going through a transition

I joined Rakel's trek on the Laugavegur trail in Iceland mainly for the experience, not for coaching.
