Designed for advanced beginners, this program is ideal for climbers with basic glacier travel experience who want to push into higher altitude and gain confidence on snow and ice terrain.
Your journey blends acclimatization hikes, expert instruction, and a midnight summit push across Orizaba’s famed Jamapa Glacier. Between climbs, you’ll explore traditional mountain communities, overnight in a high-altitude hut, and stay in a local hacienda-style hostel at the base of the volcano. The result is a balanced, challenging, and deeply rewarding mountaineering experience.
