It is recommended that you take cash with you since ATMs are not usual, and the few that may be, could be out of order. It’s better to be prepared! Though credit cards are accepted in Argentina, little grocery stores or restaurants may accept only cash.

Essential gear includes sturdy waterproof hiking boots, hiking poles, and layered clothing. A complete list of required gear will be provided upon sign-up. If you opt for the via ferrata, the necessary gear for the activity is already included.

Patagonia Hiking Adventure with Bay Club

DAY 1

Arrival at El Calafate

Upon your arrival at the El Calafate airport, your guides will pick you up and escort you to your accommodation.

After settling in, embark on the Nativo Experience—a 4x4 excursion along Lake Argentino's shores, delving into the world of the Natives through an archaeological site showcasing cave paintings. These ancient cultures left a lasting imprint on the rocks, inviting you to interpret their significance. The journey concludes in another cave with a dinner that transports you back to those distant times.

Note: El Calafate does not have an international airport. It is advisable to fly into EZE Airport in Buenos Aires and consider staying pre or post-trip for a seamless journey. For assistance with domestic flights to El Calafate, please reach out to team@adventureTripr.com.
