Welcome to Costa Rica! 
Today you will arrive at the Juan Santamaria airport in San Jose, the Capital of Costa Rica. A big city that has immersed with other cities because of its quick development. Your private transportation will pick you up to take you to your first hotel in San Jose. Once you arrive, you will enjoy some free time to rest and enjoy the hotel facilities.

Arrive in Costa Rica

After a traditional Costa Rican breakfast, you will go for rafting before reaching to your next destination La Fortuna Arenal.
During your rafting trip, you will experience over 40 exciting rapids along nearly 22 kilometers of lush, vibrant rainforest.
You will make your way through exciting rapids like “The Pipeline,” “The Terminator,” and “Dos Locos”, and the guides will make sure to get your adrenaline pumping!

Whitewater rafting and Transfer to Arenal

Get ready for a day of full on adventure. After breakfast, you will rappel down huge waterfalls, jump into pools, zip down guided rappels, down climb the canyon walls and river boulders, and hike up through the rainforest. 
Start the rappelling-leg of your canyoning journey with the first waterfall referred to as the “Baby”, a small-sized 10 feet waterfall that allows you to ease your way into learning the ropes. You will soon reach what it’s called the “Big Boy”, the second largest waterfall. About half-way through your rappel, you’ll hear the call to “LET GO!” a few moments later you’ll
experience your first guided free fall! Finally, you will get the largest Lost Canyon challenge: an exciting 200 feet waterfall rappel. At the end of this tour, enjoy a delicious typical lunch.
After lunch it's time for some zipline fun!
Your tour will begin with a warm welcome and a brief safety speech, after which your equipment will be put on and carefully checked by the bilingual guides. Enjoy this thrilling aerial adventure of approximately 3 kilometers, starting from a tower 13 meters high and glide your way down 8 cables, ranging from 80 meters to 750 meters in length, with an average height of 38 meters. Speeds will top 60 kilometers per hour! Each of the 14 platforms, 5 of which are constructed in extraordinary trees, were strategically designed at varying heights to allow the clients to observe the rainforest from different angles and photograph the awe-inspiring scenery.
After a long day of adventure, you will head to the Paradise Hot Springs, perfect to relax in natural thermal water pools and jacuzzis of different temperatures with focused hydromassage for back, legs, and feet. Here you will have your dinner.

Canyoning in Lost Canyon, Zipline and Hot Springs 

The trails in Arenal National Park and other nearby Arenal Reserves are generally flat and not very strenuous, perfect for a leisurely and informative guided walk with a professional nature guide. You will hike through well-groomed, easy trails that skirt the base of the Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal Area. 
This guided walk provides perfect photo opportunities and magnificent views of the impressive Arenal Volcano, the pristine Lake Arenal and the extinct volcano Cerro Chato. There are parts of each trail that has forested areas where your nature guide will try to spot birds, monkeys and other animals in their natural habitat.
After the guided walk you will be transferred to Samara. The town is quite small, and you can easily walk to get around. Samara beach is perfect for relaxing and swimming. You’ll find restaurants, surf lessons, beach lounges, massages stands and bars.

Samara beach is known for its breathtaking sunsets, great surfing waves and a healthy atmosphere, it is the ideal place to go for a low-key beach getaway.
