Explore around Mount St. Helens—one of the nation’s most infamous volcanoes—this winter by microspike or snowshoe (depending on snow conditions) on this beginner-friendly, mostly-flat adventure. Relax at night at in cozy, comfortable cabins, and then head out to stargaze, hike or snowshoe to a beautiful waterfall. You'll come back from your weekend vacation refreshed and with wonderful memories.  

You’ll be staying in a spectacular mountain setting just minutes from your snowshoeing adventure. Your accommodation has free Wi-Fi, a coffee machine, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and there’s a restaurant on site, as well as a playground and much more!     

We have 2 person cabins and 4 person cabins available. The 2 person cabin has its own separate entrance, a queen bed, bathroom, a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine. The 4 person cabin has its own entrance, a queen bed, bunk bed, bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee machine.

Day 1: Stargaze in the snow

Load up the car, buckle up, and get your road trip playlist ready for your drive from Seattle.  


Enjoy the beautiful scenery on the way and marvel at the gorgeous mountain views. Once you’ve arrived, check in, unload the car, explore the area, and walk on over get some yummy pizza for dinner.  


After you’ve had your fill, dress warmly to head out and stargaze. If it’s a clear night you’ll get to see amazing stars, satellites, shooting stars, and planets in the night sky.  


Sleep well tonight for tomorrow, you adventure!  


On day 1, for 2 days

You’ll be staying in a spectacular mountain setting just a few minutes walking distance away from a park, and less than 10 miles from underground caves (currenty closed due to COVID). Your accommodation has free Wi-Fi, a coffeemaker, a microwave, and a mini-fridge and there’s a restaurant on site, as well as a playground and much more!  

If you book 1-2 spots, you will be allocated a 2 person cabin or a lodge studio with its own separate entrance, with a queen bed, bathroom, a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee machine.  

If you book 3-4 spots, you will be allocated a 4 person cabin or house style lodge room with a separate entrance, wit a queen bed, a bunk bed, a bathroom a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee machine.
