Feeling cooped up after a long lock down, over worked and over stressed but cannot travel to recharge and comel alive again? Take a staycation in a highly rated, charming B&B nestled along a scenic mountain highway with easy access to several stunning hikes including alpine lakes, scenic hiking trails, historic railroad tunnels, and more. Leave all the planning to us so you can truly enjoy your staycation and don't return feeling like you need another vacation because the planning was so cumbersome. Once you book the trip, we will provide you a customized, detailed electronic itinerary with hikes suggested based on your experience and skill level. You will have detailed trail descrriptions, maps to refer to and all the information you need for a stress free vacation in the wilderness.

The pricing is $250/person for a minimum of 2 person booking on a double occupancy basis. A single spot can be booked with an upcharge of $250 at $500 per person, for the differential to be charged closer to the trip date.

Itinerary

Day 1: Short alpine Lake hikes

Self guided: Hike Option 1: 4.5mile with about 1,000 ft elevation gain hike to scenic little lake located on the northeastern slope of Mount Pilchuck, with little waterfalls along the way. Hike Option 2: 5.5 mile hike with 1,400 ft elevation gain to an alpine lake in the center of an alpine wetland on the northern shoulder of Mount Pilchuck. On this hike you will experience everything from lush mountain rainforests to old-growth forests to wetlands to majestic mountain views. These hikes are suitable for kids who have done some hiking and are ready to take their hiking to the next level by going on slighly longer and more interesting trails with some rocks and roots.

Day 3: Historic railroad / mine exploration hikes
