Learn backpacking, wilderness navigation & first aid and basic mountaineering skills from an expert guide on this guided backpacking trip through the spectacular Olympic National Park (ONP). Experience luscious nature formed by rich rainforests, crisp lakes, and alpine terrain in one of the favorite PNW backpacking destinations.
The yoga portion of the trip will include 2 classes a day: 1 session before breakfast and 1 session before dinner. We will practice an all-levels yoga class at a gentle to moderate pace, focusing on breath work and mindful movement to ease the body, lighten the heart, and strengthen the spirit. Classes will end with meditation and guided relaxation. No prior yoga experience is required.
On this easy to moderate trip, we will be following the High Divide Loop trail exploring over 18 miles and gaining a net elevation of 3,590 ft at our highest point, over the course of 4 days. We will start at the Sol Duc trailhead and move counter-clockwise past the Sol Duc falls, including several beautiful lakes and verdant rain forests. We will also take in some glorious views of Mount Olympus from various vantage points.
