Your accommodation offers a well-appointed, clean, and comfortable stay, situated conveniently close to Susukino's entertainment district. Day 3 - 9

Private Lodge: Nestled in Hokkaido's snowiest valley, this lodge offers double/twin bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower rooms. With a spacious living room featuring a fireplace, and an entrance equipped with boot dryers and ski storage, it provides the perfect retreat after a day on the slopes. Located beside the tranquil Yoichi river with Japow right at your doorstep.

Meet your host

Carl Swedberg

Carl Swedberg has his degree in Exercise Science from Western Washington University and has been working at one of the country’s most profound health clubs (PRO Sports Club in Bellevue, WA) for the past 22 years. He holds six national certifications in personal training, special populations, health coaching, and athletic performance from NSCA, ACSM, and ACE. Additionally, Carl has been a content provider/evaluator for ACE’s Medical Exercise Specialist Certification exam. Carl has been in a leadership role for most of his tenure at PRO Club, the last 15 years in a full-time manager/director role overseeing a team of 100+ personal trainers while still doing a few hours of training a week and teaching group fitness class called Mountain Conditioning preparing people for alpine adventures. Carl enjoys mountaineering, trail running, skiing and is always thinking about the next challenge.
