Today, after breakfast, your guide will pick you up in the hotel lobby to explore Colombia's vibrant capital city! You will learn all the important facts about Bogotá, visit its most significant landmarks, and listen to the fascinating stories your guide has to share.
You will stroll through the streets of the historic old town, La Candelaria, and visit Plaza Bolívar with its church and government buildings. Additionally, you will visit the world-famous Gold Museum (closed on Mondays), which boasts one of the largest and most impressive collections. A visit to the Botero Museum (closed on Tuesdays), showcasing the works of the famous Colombian artist, is also a must.
One of the best views of the capital city can be enjoyed from Monserrate Hill. Here, you will take a cable car to the top of the mountain at 3,100 meters, where you might catch a beautiful sunset over Bogotá.
Explore Bogotá's vibrant graffiti scene, starting from your hotel and traveling to Chapinero for a curated exploration of street art, including a visit to an urban art gallery or street artist's workshop.
